AN INSIDER’S PEEK

As much as we would love to extend an invitation to all members of the public to witness the very first public appearance of our Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt Singapore finalists of 2013 at their very first press conference, unfortunately, the very definition of the term denotes that the event is exclusive to press personnel only.

But worry not, for we here at ManSA, with special thanks to Beam Artistes Pte Ltd, organizer of Manhunt Singapore, will now bring you on a “visual tour” on what went on behind and on the stage of the Manhunt Singapore 2013 Press Conference!

Where better to host the Manhunt Singapore 2013 Press Conference than True Fitness latest outlet at Harbourfront Centre!

Senior Manhunt finalists GIlbert Tang, Kleve Tan, Armand Rafi, and Manhunt Singapore finalist Huang Zhong Xi grabbing a quick bite before the press conference starts.

Manhunt Singapore finalist Jake Cheng reports for press conference duty straight from his reservist In Camp Training (ICT) where he was the victim of many ferocious sandflies. Yikes!

Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt finalists Francis Nathan, Jason Tan, Rajesh Ramalingam, Armand Rafi, Eric Koa, Gilbert Tang, John-Nathan Chan, Kleve Tan, Hadi Omar and our dashing host Julian Low catching up with each other before rehearsals.

A quick briefing by Artist Manager Richmond Loo before rehearsal starts.

Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt finalists Francis Nathan, Gilbert Tang and Kleve Tan are always ready to flash a smile or pose for the camera, even while waiting their turn to enter the press conference staging area.

Like an army regiment, here are our finalists practising their entrance, exit and positions for the press conference presentation in the most orderly manner.

Gleeful smiles all round as our Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt finalists eagerly try on their designated Oris watches for the occasion.

Ready to kickstart our Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt finalists' transformation, here are our most fabulous team of hairstylists and make-up artists from Spectrum Hair Inc by Touche and M.A.C. Cosmetics.

Aren't our finalists so cute and adorable sitting in the waiting area, just like they're back in their primary school days, getting their final briefing before the press conference commences?

Alex Liu, Manhunt Singapore founder, members of the press, and selected public individuals sitting pensively, eagerly awaiting the entrance of our finalists.

Many of you might remember him from his starring role in MediaCorp Channel 5 drama series "Polo Boys", but did you also know that the boyishly handsome and debonair Julian Low is quite the talented host too?

Here they come!!!

Taking to the centrestage to deliver their personal introductions, here are Manhunt Singapore 2013 finalists Huang Zhong Xi, Herman Lim, Francis Nathan, Andrew Chua, ...

...Khye Norello, Benjamin Khoh, Jake Cheng, Hadi Omar, ...

... Koh Ben Kiong, Justin Toh, Issac Tan, Harry Tanujaya, ...

... Jason Tan and Rafiq Johar, as well as Senior Manhunt finalists Dylan Huan, Kleve Tan, ...

... Gilbert Tang, Andy Chng, Rajesh Ramalingam, Armand Rafi, ...

... Terence Teo, Micah Lim, John-Nathan Chan and Eric Koa.

Adding a touch of glitz and glamour, our organizer Samuel Seow took to the stage sharing with everyone the significance of this year's competition being its 25th anniversary, the revival of Senior Manhunt as well as how the competition has evolved over the years and redefined the qualities of the ideal man of this day and age.

The segment that everyone eagerly anticipated, the swimwear round, definitely didn't disappoint, as our finalists strutted their stuff in eyecatching vibrant coloured swimwear, sponsored by Waveline Sports, and left little to the imagination, showing off their chiselled physiques and six pack abs!

Manhunt Singapore finalists Francis Nathan, Huang Zhong Xi and Khye Norello coming forward and sharing tips as to how they achieved their tip-top muscular form.

Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt finalists Hadi Omar, Micah Lim and Dylan Huan too had health and fitness tips to share with everyone.

It's time for the bicep curl friendly competition! And this is the ideal bicep curl, so no "cheating" ok guys?!

With a grand total of 62 and 56 bicep curls respectively, Jason Tan and John-Nathan Chan took home the prize for top bicep curler in the Manhunt Singapore and Senior Manhunt categories.

Manhunt Singapore would not be where it is today without founder Alex Liu and organizer Samuel Seow. Here's our 25th year's alumni batch with the two men who made all this possible. And of course, a million thanks to our sponsor Oris for their signature timepieces that completed the look of distinguished gentlemen for our finalists.

Buffet Galore!!!

Tasty morsels catered by Eclat.

"Why did you join the competition? What sets you apart from your competitors? What do you hope to accomplish if you win the competition?" are just some of the questions our finalists had to answer in their individual heart-to-heart interview sessions with the press.

Besides print media journalists, organizer Samuel Seow and finalists were also approached for video interviews as well, that would soon be featured on popular online websites such as Xin MSN Lifestyle, Xin Hua Net Singapore, SuperAdrianMe and The New Paper.

And here's Official Photographer Barry Seah with his trusty camera whom we owe our deepest gratitude towards for the multitude of gorgeous photographs you see in this feature write-up.

Till the next event, our Senior Manhunt and Manhunt Singapore finalists bid you farewell.

Deepest appreciation also goes out to The New Paper, Xin MSN Lifestyle, Xin Hua Net Singapore and SuperAdrianMe for their in-depth coverage of the press conference. Do check out the Manhunt Singapore 2013 finalists in their personal interviews in the following feature write-ups and video clips:
