For as far as history goes, whether it's oysters and asparagus acting as aphrodisiacs, chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream adding mischief to foreplay, or labelling makan photography as "food porn", there's always been an inexplicable bond between food and sensuality.
Thus, when Manhunt Singapore finalist
Herman Lim revealed that his favourite hometown cuisine is nasi padang and beef
rendang with plenty of sambal chilli, it seemed a perfect fit to draw parallels
between the lipsmackingly delicious dish and the 26-year-old financial
consultant.
Born and bred in Tanjung Balai Karimun
in Kepri, the 1.75m Indonesian hottie, with his jaw-dropping 62kg muscled frame
of sinewy muscles, is every bit as spicy, delectable and drool-worthy as the
fiery delicacy.
Since arriving on our sunny shores
seven years ago in pursuit of his studies, Herman now proudly regards Singapore
to be his home, having just recently earned his Permanent Residentship in 2010.
And it is this sense of belonging, coupled with his belief that time and tide
wait for no man, which inspired Herman to join Manhunt Singapore in the hopes
of leaving a memorable mark in his life.
